Cross Drama

HAIRSPRAY not only marks John’s first show at Wilbur Cross, but his 

 

first venture as a vocal coach.  John is usually found in front of the footlights, not backstage.  Most 

 

recently, he played the role of Dan Goodman in the Little Theatre of Manchester’s critically acclaimed 

 

musical, NEXT TO NORMAL.  Other favorite roles include:  Aldolpho in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, Roger 

 

DeBris in THE PRODUCERS, the Baker in INTO THE WOODS, Horton in SEUSSICAL, Chris in MISS SAIGON, 

 

Stone in CITY OF ANGELS, Juan Peron in EVITA, Motel Kamzoil in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and countless 

 

others.  John makes occasional appearances as a cabaret singer with the Playhouse on Park Singers, and 

 

is also a judge for the HALO Awards given every year by Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury.

 

John’s hope tonight is that you are transported back to the 60s, and that you have fun but also take 

 

away the VERY important message that HAIRSPRAY has to offer!  ENJOY!
